I’m Hugh Hollowell, and I am a pastor and activist who writes and speaks about building community to change ourselves and the world.
I’m the founding pastor at Love Wins, a progressive faith community in Raleigh NC, and I founded The Love Wins Community Engagement Center, where we seek to prove that the opposite of homelessness is community. And for some people, I’m the pastor of last resort.
Beauty can save the world, so I have a newsletter (a Hughsletter, actually) where I send five beautiful things to your inbox each Monday. I believe burnout and fatigue limit all the good we can do in the world, so I have a weekly Facebook show about how we can take care of ourselves and each other, and I blog to share ideas and stories about how to live humanely in this world in which we find ourselves, and to help us turn the world as it is into the world as it could be.
To get in touch, send me an email to hughlh at gmail or you can tweet at me.
I work on a wide variety of projects, which collectively create a body of work dedicated to helping people create a compelling vision of a better world. All of them are free, and are made possible by the financial support of my patrons.

The Hughscast: A weekly Facebook show that is mostly about how we take care of ourselves while taking care of others.
